Sandra Bullock film eclipses New Moon at box office
Sandra Bullock's latest flick, The Blind Side, has knocked Twilight Saga: New Moon off the top of the US box office chart.
The actress' film has taken $20.4m (£12.5m) - since its release two weeks ago and was at number two until now.
In it Sandra plays a woman whose family adopts a homeless teen who ends up playing professional American football.
Based on a true story, the movie has taken double the business it was expected to.
"How outstanding is it to have a movie at number one in its third weekend?" said Warner Bros' Jeff Goldstein.
