American actor Dennis Hopper has revealed new treatment he is undergoing to battle his prostate cancer "has great promise".
The 73-year-old's diagnosis was revealed last month, when he announced plans to cancel all forthcoming events in order to concentrate on his recovery.
Since starting new experimental treatment at the University of Southern California, the actor says: "Everything's good right now."
The Easy Rider star, who is also an accomplished writer, director and artist, recently finished filming a TV adaptation of the 2004 Oscar-winning film Crash (pictured).
