After the infamous US X Factor axe, it's clear Cheryl Cole's relationship with Simon Cowell is not what it used to be. 

But maybe the singer is ready to forgive and forget after she made a cheeky comment on Twitter this weekend about Simon's age.

"Simon Cowell is '52' Today..."

Many followers thought she was making a dig at the music mogul, but her following comments appeared more mischievous than nasty.

"Ooops.. I don't think he wanted that mentioned.. My bad !! ;-)"

"He is officially in the overs category .. Hehehehehe..!"
