Former cricketer Imran Khan underwent emergency surgery on his small intestine on Monday after complaining of severe abdominal pain.
Doctors at Imran's Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital successfully operated on the Pakistan cricket star-turned-politician, who will remain in the hospital for at least three days.
London-based Jemima reportedly phoned her ex-husband to enquire about his health, again displaying the good relationship the couple have maintained since their split.
In the recent past, the pair, who divorced in 2004 and have two sons together, have come together for fundraising efforts as well as political protesting.
