Westlife's Nicky Byrne hospitalised after play-fight with Kian

Westlife star Nicky Byrne (right) was hospitalised at the weekend after cutting his head during a playful post-gig wrestle with bandmate Kian Egan.

The Irish heart-throbs were working off some excited energy by wrestling at their hotel after performing in Liverpool on Friday night.

But Nicky was left needing stitches after smashing his head into a glass table.

"Thx to all in Liverpool A&E!! I'm healing already and thx for all ur concerns," Nicky wrote on his Twitter page the following day.

"Yep five stitches but they gave me a certificate of bravery Haha. All fun and stupid lads joking. I'm healing already."
