X Factor favourite Olly Murs fractures hand

Olly Murs will be performing with a bandaged hand on X Factor this weekend.

The 26-year-old was working out with a punchbag in the contestants' house gym when he broke his hand.

After immediately seeing the doctor, Olly - who is now favourite to win the talent contest - was told he would still be able to sing on Saturday.

"He will be performing as usual at the weekend. He's confident it won't affect his hip swivelling moves!" an X Factor spokesperson says.

It's been a difficult week for Olly, who has also been battling a throat infection.

"I went and saw the doctor midweek and I actually had an injection in my…my, bum-cheek! Can I say that!? To sort out my throat infection!" he reveals.
