John Terry's father admits dealing of drugs

The father of the Chelsea footballer John Terry has pleaded guilty to dealing cocaine.

Edward Terry, 56, admitted a charge of supplying the Class A drug when he appeared before Basildon magistrates on Wednesday.

The court was told he supplied it to an undercover newspaper reporter in a winebar in 2009.

Edward's lawyer stated his client was "embarrassed" over the upset he has caused his famous son.
