The Queen was all smiles on Thursday as she watched her horse compete at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Casual in a blue gilet, pink cardigan and kilted skirt, the monarch saw one of her steeds finish fourth in a showing event.
The equestrian show, which runs until Sunday, has taken place every year since 1944 in Windsor Great Park.
As patron of the event, Her Majesty attends each edition and until recently Prince Philip was a regular competitor in the carriage driving competitions.
