Jazz chanteuse Amy Winehouse made no secret of the fact she had fallen in love with St Lucia after arriving on the Caribbean isle last December.
But the singer's sunny stint has apparently come to an end, with reports surfacing that the troubled diva is making a move back to Britain.
"She's lonely and wants to get back to what she knows," a source close to the singer reveals.
Work issues are also said to be behind her return. "She has to knuckle down. She's on a very fine line with the label and has pushed them almost as far as they will go," continues the source.
Although record company bosses encouraged Amy to use her holiday to find inspiration for her forthcoming album, the tracks she submitted were rejected.
Making the move back to England means the 25-year-old will be back among her favourite home comforts.
Earlier this year she had tea bags and a bottle of brown sauce shipped over to her in St Lucia.
