Sarah Jessica Parker is a hands-on mum - and proud of it.
The Sex And The City star and husband Matthew Broderick shun the idea of having live-in nannies to help look after their three children - James Wilkie, eight, and two-year-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha.
"We don't have any live-in help. We're pretty hands-on parents," she told US Vogue.
"That's something that's important to both of us, and we don't shirk it, because what's the point in having a family if you're not going to really participate in it, you know?"
The star, who was named one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, juggles motherhood with her acting and producing career, and admitted she sometimes worries about being an older parent.
"Honestly, the only thing that I'm concerned about is the energy: I hope I can maintain the energy," said the 46-year-old.
"I think about all the years I've spent parenting James Wilkie and everything I put into it, and there are two of them."
