EastEnder Patsy Palmer gives birth to fourth baby

Patsy Palmer has become a mother-of-four, after welcoming a baby boy, Bertie.

The EastEnders actress previously spent three weeks in hospital following a scare during pregnancy.

And although the 38-year-old was rushed to hospital from her home in Brighton after her waters broke early, Bertie is healthy and well.

A friend said: "The family are over the moon."

Patsy has two other children - Fenton, nine, and eight-year-old Emilia - with taxi driver husband Richard Merkell. She also has a son, Charley, from a previous marriage.
