Bryan Adams and his assistant expecting a baby
Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is to become a dad for the first time at 51.
The Summer of '69 musician is expecting the baby in May with his personal assistant.
"Alicia Grimaldi and I are expecting a baby," he said in a statement. "She helped me start my foundation years ago and it looks like she'll be running the family now."
His spokeswoman declined to describe the nature of their personal relationship.
Bryan's friends were apparently unaware that he was seeing anyone.
British-born Alicia began working for the singer in 2004, a few years after graduating from Cambridge University.
