The Duchess of Cambridge, a formidable hockey player who captained her school team, has put her weight behind Britain's Olympic efforts.
In her capacity as an ambassador for the 2012 Games, Kate visited the Olympic hockey arena in East London.
The sporty royal arrived wearing jeggings and towering heels, which she later swapped for trainers.
She scored a goal during training with Team GB's female athletes.
Hopes are high for the team after they made it through to their first ever Champions Trophy final last month.
They lost just 1-0 to hockey world champions Argentina.
