'You've helped achieve a better world' Hillary told by NYU

Wearing a blue academic gown, US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton joined over 25,000 graduates, faculty, staff and guests at a New York University commencement ceremony on Thursday morning, where she received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

“You have earned this nation’s and the world’s esteem throughout your nearly four decades as advocate, attorney, First Lady, United States Senator, and now chief architect of American foreign policy," university president John Sexton said during the presentation ceremony.

The former Presidential spouse was also praised for her "discipline and passion, warmth and wit… keen intellect and sound judgment" before being told: "You have helped define and achieve a better America and a better world."
