Laurence's wife reveals results of 500-calorie-a-day diet

Tanned, uber-groomed and radiating confidence Laurence Llewelyn Bowen's wife Jackie almost stole the show at the Classical Brit Awards on Thursday evening, showing off her svelte figure in a stunning emerald green silk satin gown that complemented every newly sleek curve.

The 44-year-old mum of two - she and interior design whizz are parents to daughters  Cecile, 13, and ten-year-old Hermione - lost five stone after revealing she'd got fed up of being referred to as the TV presenter's 'dumpy wife'. 

 A diet of 500 calories a day, combined with the help of a personal trainer, produced remarkable results. 

"I feel losing weight somehow empowered me. I didn’t do it because of pressure from anyone else and I didn’t do it to look better. I did it for health reasons," she says. 

Now clocking up to 36 miles a week, Jackie's net challenge is the 26.2-mile charity MoonWalk in London on Saturday.
