The countdown to Christmas begins in the Netherlands as Princess Maxima and her husband Willem-Alexander join the Saint Nicholas parade in The Hague.
With them, as brass bands, floats and colourful groups of jesters filled the streets, were their three daughters, Amalia, Alexia and Ariane.
This Dutch tradition marks the arrival of Santa Claus and his helpers who check if children have been good and leave them little gifts.
In return, youngsters leave their shoes out with carrots and hay for the horse.
Amalia and her sisters shouldn't have any problems receiving their presents.
On their first official public engagement in September, the pretty girls did their parents proud by being on their best behaviour.
