New role helps Elizabeth Hurley move on from Shane

Austin Powers actress Elizabeth Hurley proved she's hasn't lost her mojo despite recent dramatic developments in her love life.

Britain's most fabulous fortysomething was on show-stopping form on the set of the new Wonder Woman TV series in LA.

She'd donned a figure-hugging dress and heels to play the villainess in an update of the famous Seventies programme.

After a long day of filming the star tweeted: "First scene in the can. Phew."

Work is a boon for the beauty after a visit to see cricketer Shane Warne in sunny Australia, which seemed to leave her with the winter blues.

Having returned early to the UK, Elizabeth had tweeted: "Now in bath with book, whisky and - even by my standards - deeply depressing country music."
