Daniel Radcliffe has said he is "delighted" that the final Harry Potter film has been recognised in the latest BAFTA nominations.
Harry Potter And Ths Deathly Hallows - Part Two, the last instalment of the popular series received four mentions on the 2012 list.
Announcing the shortlist, Daniel said:
"I think (the team) absolutely deserve to be there and I really hope they'll win."
He added: "It's lovely to have a year when it's not like when (James Cameron movie) Avatar was just going to walk away with everything.
"It's a really diverse grouping of lots of very, very different styles of films, so it's a good year for cinema."
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy producer Tim Bevan also spoke of his film's nominations:
"I'm very glad that the film had been nominated for best director.
"Any film is the vision of a director, and that's particularly so with this movie, so Tomas Alfredson deserves the accolade."
