Susan Boyle to receive £4m on birthday
While birthdays usually bring with them a showering of gifts and treats, it's going to be an extra special celebration for Susan Boyle when she turns 49 this year.
The Britain's Got Talent singer will become a multi-millionaire on her special day, when she receives her first major pay-out.
The £4 million, which comes from sales of her debut album and string of international appearances, will be deposited into her bank account on April 1.
The West Lothian star is reportedly planning to splash out on a luxury house in her hometown, and will also put money towards her new project of designing and selling her own tartan.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the break-in at Susan's home in January.
