While Ashton Kutcher used Twitter to poke fun at his wife Demi Moore, by photoshopping a Mohican hair cut onto her head, Phillip Schofield has also been having fun with the micro-blogging service.

He recently posted an image of himself decked out in Fern Britton's Princess Leia-style dress and heels.

The shot came from a tribute video that the This Morning team put together to bid farewell to their departing presenter.

Fern – who will now be replaced by Holly Willougby – once donned the costume for laughs on the breakfast chat show.

While she looked fantastic in it, Phil admitted donning drag posed a few problems for him.

"I'm not in the habit of putting a frock on partly because, ladies, I don't know how the hell you walk in heels. But…. I've done it for a laugh," he told Twitter followers.
