Kourtney Kardashian and partner Scott Disick announced they were expecting their second child in November 2011.

And the pair have now confirmed they will be welcoming a little girl into their lives.

The eldest of the Kardashian sisters told E! News: "We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason."

Kourtney's mum Kris Jenner was quick to tweet her excitement when the news became public:

"Hey twitterfam!! @KourtneyKardash @ScottDisick are having a GIRL!!! Can't wait to go buy something PINK! What a blessing!"

The couple's second child is due in late spring 2012, and will be baby sister to big brother to their first child Mason, two.
