'Corrie' kids take time out during Blanche Hunt's funeral
It was a sad day for the cast of Coronation Street as they filmed the funeral service for character Blanche Hunt - played by actress Maggie Jones, who recently passed away.
Keeping the spirits up, however, were young stars Amber Chadwick, who plays Amy McDonald, and Alex Bain, who plays Simon Barlow.
Taking time out from filming, the little ones enjoyed some playground fun in between scenes.
Battleaxe Blanche's funeral is paving the way for Tracy Barlow's return to Weatherfield.
Tracy, played by actress Kate Ford - who is currently three years into a life sentence for the murder of lover Charlie Stubbs - also attends at the service, due to hit TV screens next month.
