From a musical superstar to an onscreen superhero – fresh from her split from singer Joe Jonas, Twilight's Ashley Green is now being linked to Captain America actor Chris Evans.

After announcing her split from 21-year-old Joe on March 17, Ashley is said to have recently enjoyed an evening with Chris at a nightclub in LA.

"They were flirtatious and dancing closely together at points during the night," one onlooker told People magazine.

"They were talking a lot and whispering."

Another clubgoer added: "He was making her laugh, and she would push him in a flirty way."

But one source insists that both 24-year-old Ashley and Chris, 29, remain single.

"They're friends," says the insider. "They were having fun."
