'Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick in new 'Romeo & Juliet'
Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick is in talks to play Tybalt in a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet, according to Variety.
True Grit Oscar-nominee Hailee Steinfeld is set to star as Juliet, with Holly Hunter cast as The Nurse.
The leading role of Romeo is yet to be announced.
Filming for Romeo And Juliet - which was last remade by Baz Luhrmann in 1996 and starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes as the star-crossed lovers - is scheduled to start this summer in Italy.
