All the latest on the royal wedding
Sashaying down the catwalk in this skimpy number, Kate Middleton caught the eye of one William Wales – as the Prince was called as a student.
Eight years after this St Andrews University fashion show the pair are engaged – and the dress could be worth £100,000.
The dress that captivated the future King was made by Charlotte Todd, then a fashion student.
Appropriately enough Charlotte, now 31, created it for a project called the art of seduction.
She's been told it's currently valued at £10,000 – but that figure could go up ten-fold if and when Kate becomes Queen.
This week she expressed her pride that the item "played a part in the royal love story".
And said she'd only part with it "in exchange for a wedding invitation" from Kate.
