Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor is "a little better" but remains in a critical condition her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt has said.
The 93-year-old actress is being treated in LA's Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after injuring her hip in a fall at her home last week.
She had a successful three-and-a-half hour operation on July 19, but two days later her condition worsened.
On Friday night doctors ordered a blood transfusion and new medication that they hoped would help the star recover quicker.
By Saturday the star – who is best known for appearing in the Orson Welles classic Touch of Evil and her nine marriages – was able to speak and squeeze her husband's hand.
