While she's often seen on the red carpet with her Hollywood other half Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes was flying solo this week as she stepped out in the Big Apple to host an indie film awards bash.
Effortlessly glam in a halterneck, two-piece satin suit, Katie – sans the hair extensions she had put in to attend the Tokyo premiere of Tom's war film Valkyrie – had flashbulbs popping as she arrived.
The actress has been busy filming The Extra Man, which tells the tale of a failed playwright - played by Kevin Kline – who works as an escort for rich widows in New York.
