Fans remember Michael on two-year anniversary

Celebrities and fans worldwide are taking time to remember Michael Jackson on the two-year anniversary of his death.

While many mourn outside his childhood home in Indiana, others in countries like Poland and South Korea have honoured the pop legend through dance and fancy dress.

A group even took an illegal tour of his Las Vegas home - a property valued at $12 million.

Rhianna
, along with Janet Jackson, Usher and Big Boi, also paid tribute to Michael on Twitter:

"MJ We miss you, We love you...often imitated, NEVER duplicated!!! You will live on forever!"

Most notably, the Beat It singer's famous black-and-red calfskin jacket that he wore in the classic Thriller video has been sold at auction for $1.8 million (£1.1m).

Darren Julien, president and chief executive of Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, said the jacket was bought by Milton Verret, a commodities trader from Austin, Texas.

Mr Verret said the jacket would be sent on tour and used as a fund-raising tool for children's charities.

A portion of the sale price will go to the Shambala Preserve, a big cat sanctuary caring for two tigers the star once owned.

Michael, 50, died on June 25, 2009 as he prepared for a series of comeback concerts in London.
