Dermot O'Leary joins Heather Mills in feeding Brighton

X Factor host Dermot O'Leary has joined the ranks of Brighton's celebrity restaurateurs, which include Heather Mills - who's opening a vegan café on the seafront - and Norman Cook, owner of Japanese eatery Okinami.

Dermot has gone into business with pals on seafood brasserie Fishy Fishy, which is set to open its doors next month.

"We've known each other for five or six years," he explains about his new partners. "They both work in the restaurant trade and we've been talking about it for ages."

"One of them is married to my girlfriend Dee's best friend, and the girls did the interior. So it's a nice family thing. Fingers crossed everyone else will like it."

Dermot, who describes the new fish and chip venture as "not posh, posh", plans to be hands-on with his venture meaning diners are likely to see him working front of house from time to time
