The Duke of Edinburgh was in his element this week as he surveyed a charity rally of classic motor cars as they drove through the quadrangle at Windsor Castle.
The 83-year-old royal, who this month became the longest serving royal consort, inspected some of the 200 MG cars taking part in an event to mark the 85th anniversary of the car which also raised funds for the Prince Philip Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
It's the third time a parade of historic British cars has been driven through Windsor Castle in aid of the organisation. In 2002 the Queen and her husband viewed a parade on Bentleys and Rolls Royces and two years later a rally of Aston Martins
