The name Charlie Winston might not ring any bells on this side of the Channel just yet, but the British musician has become a sensation in France.
After ten years busking around the UK, the 30-year-old moved to Paris and six months later was enjoying life at the top of the singles chart with Like A Hobo.
Hailed as "the best surprise" of 2009 by France's Rolling Stone magazine, Charlie's album, Hobo, also reached the number one spot in France, picking him up a platinum disc for sales over 200,000.
With quirky songs with titles like My Life As A Duck, and his impressive showmanship - he moonwalks, body pops and beat boxes, the Suffolk-raised star has gone down a storm in France and is currently on a sell-out tour.
And British fans will have the chance to hear what all the fuss is about when Hobo is released in September.
