After flooding Twitter with posts about the joys of being a mother, Ivanka Trump has tweeted she's experiencing separation anxiety.

The 29-year-old posted: "Ventured into the office for a few hours today but raced home to see Arabella this evening. I'm already experiencing separation anxiety!"

The baby girl, just ten days old, is Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner's, first child. 

This isn't the first time the new mother has shown her nerves.  

Before the July 17 birth, she confessed to People magazine: "I haven’t focused too much on the actual delivery part, which is seriously terrifying.

"I have enough anxiety about the type of mother I’m going to be and the nuances of being a parent..."

Since Arabella arrived, however, Ivanka has loved being a mum:

"Jared and I are having so much fun playing with our daughter! Arabella Rose is beyond adorable. She's truly a blessing."
