Couple to become Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Following their wedding Prince William and Kate Middleton will become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Tradition dictates that Princes receive a title as a gift chosen and bestowed by the Queen.
William's full title will be His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus.
Meanwhile, Kate will be known as Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge.
The most famous previous Duke of Cambridge was George II who held the title in the 18th century.
