Comedian Frankie Boyle has won his libel case against The Daily Mirror, who branded him "a racist comedian".
On Monday Frankie was awarded £54,650 in damages against the tabloid.
The 40-year-old comedian said he had sued because he had always made a point of being "anti-racist".
Giving a V for victory sign after a week-long trial, Frankie said: "I am very happy with the decision. Racism is still a very serious problem in society which is why I've made a point of always being anti-racist in my life and work and that's why I brought this action."
The star informed his fans on Twitter that he planned to donate the funds to a prisoner justice charity.
He said: "Here's the good people I'm giving my damages to. They do a lot of inspiring work. Have a look if you get a minute. Reprieve.org.uk."
