Wedding re-run for William and Kate’s anniversary

After the great expectations of their own union, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their anniversary weekend as guests at a wedding.

Britain’s golden couple attended the Suffolk nuptials of Kate’s Marlborough College school friend, Hannah Gillingham.

Also celebrating alongside them was the Duchess’ sister Pippa Middleton.

"The guests made it feel like a re-run of the royal wedding as they had so many of those people who matter the most to them there," royal photographer Mark Stewart told People.

On Sunday – the actual day of the anniversary – William and Kate escaped to the remote privacy of their Anglesey farmhouse.

There, the Duchess cooked a romantic meal to celebrate one year as a glamorous Windsor wife.
