Denise Richards has adopted a baby girl.

The former Bond actress, 40, who is already mum to two children with ex-Charlie Sheen, adopted a girl domestically from the US, according to reports.

Her representative told People: "Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise.

"Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

After being congratulated by her followers on Twitter, single mum Denise wrote: "Thank you all for your sweet messages.

"The girls and I are over-the-moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv... xo".

Wild Things star Denise has two children, Sami, seven, and Lola, five, from her marriage to ex-Two And A Half Men Star Charlie.

Her mother Joni died in 2007 after a battle with cancer.
