Hollywood tributes pour in for Dennis Hopper

After the sad news of Dennis Hopper's passing on Sunday, the late star's Hollywood colleagues have been paying tribute to their friend.

Peter Fonda, who worked with him in Easy Rider, said: "We changed the way movies were made in Hollywood. I was blessed by his passion and friendship."

His co-star from Blue Velvet, Isabella Rossellini, said: "I was afraid of Dennis but he was kind and compassionate."

"Dennis was an artist and I will treasure having worked with him," said Tinseltown veteran Gene Hackman.

And actress Christina Applegate tweeted: "Sweet Dennis Hopper. Bless you for your gifts you gave us all these years."
