Irish charm has won the day in our Most Attractive Woman poll, with Andrea Corr taking victory in the hotly-contested grand finale. The pretty songstress has kept a relatively low profile in recent months, but obviously out of sight does not mean out of mind - her 35 per cent of the vote placed her above the rest of the contenders.
It was a close-run race, however, with Bollywood siren Aishwarya Rai romping into second place with 18 per cent. And the green-eyed beauty proved her star quality in more ways than one, because she also came runner-up in the Most Elegant category - with a little help from the shimmering Armani gown she wore to the UK premiere of Bride And Prejudice.
The Indian actress faced a stiff challenge from Denmark's Princess Mary in both sections. At the close of voting though, the 32-year-old royal edged out the other finalists to become Most Elegant Woman of 2004, but she had to settle for third place in the Most Attractive poll.
In the race for Most Attractive Man, it was Troy star Orlando Bloom who proved irresistible to our readers. Last year's winner reclaimed his title after you gave him some 34 per cent of the vote, over the likes of Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe. Second place Colin Firth provided a worthy challenge, with 26 per cent, while Phantom Of The Opera hunk Gerard Butler crossed the line a more than respectable third on 10 per cent.
