EastEnders star Mohammed George and his girlfriend Emma Archibald are celebrating a sweet surprise this week, after the unexpected birth of their baby girl. The happy arrival came as a complete shock to the couple, who had no idea Emma was pregnant.
The Sun reports the 24-year-old beauty checked into a North London hospital with stomach cramps on Saturday night – and was astonished when she found out she was in labour with a full-term baby. Hours later, a 5lb 14oz bouncing baby girl made her debut.
Mohammed, who plays Gus Smith on the popular TV soap, and his girlfriend are "delighted" with their unexpected gift. "It was all a bit of a shock – and a surprise – but a welcome one," he said.
Though the story seems incredible, the odds of having a "concealed birth", where the mother is unaware of her pregnant status, are about 24,000 to one. |
