The fresh new faces of Tinseltown set temperatures soaring on Wednesday night at the Hot Young Hollywood Style Awards. A series of rising stars turned out for the glitzy event, which honours the coolest trendsetters and breakthrough talents who are making their mark in showbiz.
TV presenter Jessica Simpson, who is about to make her movie debut in The Dukes Of Hazard, took the main award, but she was far from the only starlet making an impression on the red carpet.
Never one to shy away from the press pack, Paris Hilton had traded her trademark blonde for a sultry brunette look when she arrived hand-in-hand with Rod Stewart's model daughter Kimberly. The 24-year-old used an A-line dress with plunging neckline to complete her transformation, while her companion was looking equally striking in a layered floral creation.
Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd meanwhile opted for a rather more understated black suit, but the 31-year-old, who was accompanied by his actress girlfriend Alice Evans, will be the one taking centre stage this summer when he hits screens in the lead role of The Fantastic Four.
