Levi and Matthew were spotted on a boys' day out in New York this week, making the most of the warmer weather with a trip to the zoo
Despite the absence of his mum and baby sister, the adorable 19-month-old was still in his element and was clearly enjoying a ride courtesy of his famous father
There was some serious male bonding going on in New York this week as Matthew McConaughey and his boy Levi headed out together for a day of fun at the zoo.
Looking like two peas in a pod, father and son took advantage of the city's good weather and ventured out to see the animals.
With mum Camila Alves and his little sister Vida elsewhere, Levi was nevertheless in his element; hitching a ride from his dad as they made their way to the Central Park attraction.
The little boy is certainly taking after his pa – particularly on the fashion front. Mimicking the Sahara star's casual approach to attire, the 19-month-old opted for a funky hat and cut-off denims held up by some trendy braces for the excursion.
But it remains to be seen whether or not he will follow his 40-year-old father into the entertainment industry.
Appearing recently on Jay Leno's chat show, Matthew revealed that he believes Levi is heading in a different direction.
"He's either gonna be a astronaut because he's always liked air traffic control - from a bird to a plane, sun, moon, cloud, everything in the air," said the handsome Texan.
"Or he's Poseidon because he's just infatuated with water... Or he may be a cobbler because he's infatuated with shoes."
He also shared with his host that his son is just "into everything" at the moment.
"You don't go out and walk into the backyard and daydream for five seconds, or he's on top of the house," he joked.
