Proving she's more than just a pretty face, Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen has been demonstrating her business acumen. Following the advice of leading economists who say the US dollar's value will continue to fall, the canny Brazilian is insisting on being paid for modelling assignments in euros.
The statuesque blonde is reportedly the richest model in the world - a distinction she is clearly keen to hang onto. "Contracts are more attractive in euros, because we don't know what will happen to the dollar," says the model's twin Patricia, who acts as her manager.
Leonardo DiCaprio's former flame - whose fortune is estimated at £75 million - isn't the first model to take an active interest in the details of the fashion business. Former catwalk queens Elle Macpherson and Heidi Klum have built entire business empires on the back of their modelling careers.
