Hollywood star Sandra Bullock has reportedly tied the knot in true down-home style, marrying her TV mechanic boyfriend Jesse James at a sprawling California ranch.
The sunset ceremony, held on Saturday, was apparently a family affair filled with sentimental touches.
The actress, who wore a lace gown by Angel Sanchez, walked down the aisle to a recording of her late mother, an opera singer, performing an aria, reports People magazine. And at the altar, the couple exchanged one-of-a-kind rings – Jesse put a vintage wedding band by jeweller Neil Lane on his bride's finger, while Sandra gave her groom a stainless steel ring she made herself in his machine shop.
Following the country-themed wedding, the 300 friends and family members in attendance danced to a bluegrass band and enjoyed a wedding cake baked by Sandra's sister Gesine.
The nuptials were the first for the 41-year-old actress, and the third for the 35-year-old tattooed Monster Garage star. Jesse, who designs custom motorcycles at his West Coast Choppers shop in Long Beach, California, has two children with first wife Karla and a daughter with his second spouse, adult film star Janine Lindemulder.
Sandra met her husband in early 2004, when her ten-year-old godson, a fan of Jesse's show, asked her to set up a visit to the Monster Garage set. |
