SCARLETT TAKES FLIGHT ON SET OF NEW FILM

It's no big secret that Scarlett Johansson's career has taken off in recent years. The silver screen siren really soars in her latest movie outing, however, thanks to a gust of wind and her trusty umbrella.

The 21-year-old was photographed hovering over the streets of Manhattan as she filmed scenes for The Nanny Diaries this week. In the flick she is shown floating down to earth, Mary Poppins style, as she dangles from a brolly.

Scarlett's role in the light-hearted romance is a world away from her more dramatic turns in recent productions like Match Point and The Black Dahlia. The actress is obviously enjoying the chance to try something a little different, however. And there's no danger of her being pigeon-holed, as her next movie, Amazon, will see her following in the footsteps of Charlize Theron and Halle Berry by playing the lead in a high-octane action adventure.
