Joe Inglis and Emma Milne fell in love, married then separated in the spotlight – on national TV. The two young vets split up 18 months ago but, thanks to Vets In Practice, the docu-soap in which both star, they have never really disappeared from
public view – indeed, they return to our screens for a new series this summer.
They still live in Cheltenham, though in separate houses, and still have joint custody of their beloved collie-cross dogs, Pan and Badger, which they share on alternate weekends. They have stayed friends and meet up regularly.
But Emma has been in a relationship for over a year. And in a touching interview in HELLO! earlier this year, Joe said: “For the first time since Emma left, I feel ready for a new commitment. I’m talking romance. I know there must be a woman out
there who’s waiting for me.”
Although he didn’t know it at the time, there certainly was…in fact, Jenny Smith was not only waiting for him, she was much closer than he realised. She and sister Beccy present the Science Sisters slot on Blue Peter, on which Joe is resident vet.
For the full story on how the two got it together, see this week’s issue of HELLO!
