15 MARCH 2004
It looks like Norway's Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are sharing their love for sport and the outdoors with their newborn daughter, taking seven-week-old Princess Ingrid Alexandra out for a ski event.

Bundled in a woolly blanket and knitted hat, the little princess looked warm and cosy cradled in her mother's arms during the Holmenkollen Ski Jumping competition in their home country on Sunday. New second-time mum Mette-Marit looked youthful and radiant with her hair in a pony tail, while Prince Haakon, currently serving as regent as his father recovers from bladder cancer treatment, looked equally relaxed in a sporty blue jacket.

The royal couple are gearing up for a landmark event next month, when Princess Ingrid Alexandra will be baptised. The family's newest addition will be christened at the Royal Palace Chapel on April 17.
