Meghan Markle's potential appearance in a high-profile Netflix drama could still be on – after a Netflix boss didn't rule out an upcoming cameo for the Duchess.
Manda Levin, Netflix's scripted chief in the UK, was asked whether Meghan would be appearing in the third season at the Edinburgh TV Festival on Wednesday, the same day that the Duchess returned to the UK with her family.
"All bets are off," Manda responded cryptically, according to Deadline.
Notably, she did not issue a denial, which means that the door could still be open for Meghan.
© Getty ImagesDeadline initially reported that Meghan has had preliminary conversations about a potential role in the show, which would mark her first significant acting role since her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018.
A source close to the family told HELLO! previously: "There have been inquiries in the entertainment space recently and things that she is considering but nothing is firm yet. There are only conversations."
However, counter reports suggested the offer had been "withdrawn", and any casting is yet to be officially confirmed.
The Gentlemen films in the UK, where Meghan is now based after moving back from Montecito in California.
The Gentlemen is renewed for a third season
The Gentlemen, which stars Theo James, was officially renewed for a third season earlier this week.
Guy Ritchie said following the announcement: "The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further."

It premiered in 2024, and is a spin-off from Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, which follows an American drug lord seeking to sell his cannabis empire in England.
The Netflix hit also stars Skins actress Scodelario as calculating crime boss Susie Glass and her father Bobby is portrayed by Ray Winstone.
Inside Meghan's acting career
Meghan's most famous role was paralegal Rachel Zane in Suits, but she also starred in Hallmark movies and films Horrible Bosses and Remember Me.
She put her acting career on hold when she married Harry in 2018 in St George's Chapel, Windsor, telling the BBC at the time it marked the start of a "new chapter".

In 2022, Meghan shut down the possibility of a return to acting, telling Variety that she was "done". She added: "I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not."
Mark Borkowski, a PR expert, also hinted that Meghan could look to have a theatre career. "I know at least three or four West End theatre producers who would have her in a production tomorrow," he told HELLO!.
