Princess Stephanie of Monaco has separated from her husband of ten months, circus acrobat Adans Peres, according to reports.
The younger daughter of Prince Rainier is apparently the one who called it quits on the relationship with 30-year-old Adans, whom she married in a secret ceremony last September. German and Swiss media claim that Stephanie, 39, has already contacted lawyers, and is intending to seek a quickie divorce.
But it looks like Adans isn't giving up his princess without a fight. A German newspaper quotes the Big Top professional as telling a friend: "It's true that we are having a crisis but I am fighting for my marriage. Stephanie is the great love of my life."
Mum-of-three Stephanie has been making headlines for her romances for more than two decades. In addition to a prior marriage to her former bodyguard Daniel Ducruet – the father of two of her three children – she's also been linked to race car driver Paul Belmondo, footballer Fabien Barthez, Hollywood star Rob Lowe and circus director Franco Knie. Media fascination with the royal was further fuelled when she refused to name the father of her third child, Camille.
