Largely sheltered from the public arena during his undergraduate studies in Scotland, Wills, who is keen to maintain his independence, has shown an early talent for engaging with his subjects. He has already displayed his father's charm as well as the compassion and down-to-earth approach inherited from Princess Diana.
And, like his parents, he is keen to make a contribution to charitable causes. Onlookers at St Mary's hospital in Paddington were impressed as the hunky royal - who made his own debut into the world in the same building - cuddled a pair of premature twins during his first official engagement as a working royal.
