Sofia Richie's wedding to Elliot Grainge promises to be a star-studded affair - but the star's dad, Lionel Richie, is far from the destination in the South of France.
While the rich and famous have been arriving over the last few days, the father-of-the-bride is still in Los Angeles.
In an interview with Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 on Friday, the American Idol judge was asked where he was calling in from. He responded that he was in "sunny California" and didn't mention Sofia's nuptials.
No doubt, Lionel will be jumping on a plane ASAP though so as not to miss his youngest daughter's big day.
The wedding festivities have already begun for the 24-year-old bride-to-be who herself along with many of her celebrity friends have already descended upon the prestigious Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes in the South of France.

Sofia, a creative director for beauty brand Nudestix, is Lionel's youngest of his three children. He also shares son Miles Brockman, 28, with his ex-wife – and Sofia's mom – Diane Alexander, who he was married to from 1995 to 2004.
Lionel and his first wife, Brenda Harvey, to whom he was married to from 1975 to 1993, adopted Nicole Richie .
Sofia and the British music executive were first romantically linked to each other in 2021, and Elliot dropped down on one knee with a candlelit proposal in April 2022.
Lionel has previously gushed over his daughter's future husband , revealing to Access Hollywood: "I love Elliot. I've known him since he was 12," adding: "It was one of those things where I don't have to go back and check out the kid. I know who he is."
